Mr.Jagadish Majhi and Mrs.Tarsila Majhi, a couple from Odisha has been living in Pallisery, Angamaly since 2000. They have been in Kerala for 20 years and they did not have any papers either in Kerala or their native state except a letter from the Panchayat Member of their native place to prove their identity and address. During these years only one visit was made to their native state since they lacked proper documents and faced difficulties during the journey. They were not eligible for government welfare schemes, suffered many difficulties during their living in Kerala for not having the appropriate documents.

As per the UIDAI Authority, anyone without a proof of identity need to get a certificate from a grade I gazeted officer. The coordinator helped the poor couple to get certificate from the gazeted officer and submitted application for Aadhar card and they received the card within 20 days. The couple was very delighted and acknowledged service given to them
