For a 10-year-old girl this is a daily scene in her house. Her father was an alcholic; he drank regularly and physically abused the mother and child. A wound on her face, urged her class teacher to contact CHILDLINE. CHILDLINE produced her before the Child Welfare Committee and they ordered Valsalya Bhavan to provide the child with shelter and education.
Now she is attending her school from our center and she is very good at her studies. She secures good marks in all her subjects. She wants to be a police officer to protect women from all dangers.
