KISMAT Coordinators visited Interstate Migrant families living with children especially school going children in different districts and tried to understand their problems. During such visits the Coordinators observed that due to Covid 19 and unemployment, many families faced crisis in food, rent, education of the children etc. They requested KISMAT to support them for children’s education and food. District Coordinators prepared a proposals and budget and submitted the same to BREADS Bangalore through District Director Fr.Jenson for distributing nutritional food kits and study materials for 30 needy families living in the district.
On 16th and 18th July, KISMAT distributed food and nutritional kits to 30 families who were living with Children. Each consisted of items like Rice, Atta, Sugar, Tea, Oil, Onion, Potato, Masala powders, Milk Powder, Noodles, Cake, Sweets, Soaps and Tooth Paste.
