Refusing to let her physical disabilities hold her back, Elizabeth Stania found her career in accounting. Elizabeth, was born in an fishermen community. The family found it very difficult to support her with higher education. Sr. Deepa Joseph, one of her schoolteacher recommended her to join for the free computer training offered by Don Bosco Psycho- Social Support center in Palluruthy, Cochin. She enrolled for a 3 months certificate program in accounting with Tally software. After the completion of the course, she was placed in a shipping container stores at Maradu as an inventory clerk.

Now she is working as an Accountant in a supermarket in Thevera with better salary. “The patience of the staff at the computer center helped my child to pursue her dream career”, said her mother.
