Jojo was an unemployed youth when he reached Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan Annexe, Cochin in 2005. Jojo hails from Kannur, the northern district of Kerala and reached Kochi in search of a job.
Sneha Bhavan Annexe was refered to him by a stranger whom he met at the railway station. From that day onwards, Jojo became a part of the night shelter. He used to go for many odd jobs such as plumbing, construction work and worked as a security guard. With the income he was able to support his poor family and also helped to meet all the expenses for his sister’s marriage.

He then managed to join a course in Hotel Management and this helped him to find jobs in many reputed hotels in the state of Kerala. He strongly believes that the motivation to join a course in Hotel Management came from Sneha Bhavan Annexe. The positive atmosphere at the center helped him to complete the course without fail. Now he is staying with his family at Kannur and is working in a religious institution as a chief chef.
