DBPSS center was established in 2016 to create a better world through the creation of a better self. It is a place where young people, their parents and mentors are offered with necessary psycho- social support to enhance their lives. This center provides counseling services and life skill trainings for children from our orphanages, and to the children, parents and teachers of the schools and the community around.

Counselling – Psychotherapy Clinic

Mental health problems are increasingly a major issue to be dealt with among present generation of children and families. A Brainwave Therapy based clinic has been set up at DBPSS for the addressing the issue. Through the Brain Equilibrium Time (BET) and (Memory Retrieval Therapy (MRT) Techniques, the brain waves are reset to its normal flow, thus alleviating the psychological problems of an individual. There is no medication involved in the process. The various psychological problems of adolescent students, young people, couples and adults are treated here successfully using this method of psychotherapy.

Bosco Kids

BOSCO KIDS is a club for underprivileged children of the neighbhouring community of Sneha Bhavan to enhance their self- esteem through innovative programmes. BOSCO KIDS cultivates sense of responsibility through savings and various other tailor made programs. Free counseling services are made available for the members of the club. The habit of reading is promoted through the library.

Computer Training Center

This center provides job oriented computer training to the teenagers, youth and women from the neighbourhood. The computer-training centre provides basic training as well as advanced courses to students so that they can have better career opportunities. Microsoft office package, TALLY PRO and Graphic designing are courses offered at this center.

Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan Orphanage Library

Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan Orphanage Library was established in 2004 as a part of Sneha Bhavan rehabilitation center for orphan children. This Library is managed by Don Bosco and supported by District Library Council of Kerala. It is a well-furnished library with over 8000 books.

Linking Hands

Taking into consideration the sad scenario of drug addiction, and alcoholism in and around Palluruthy even affecting school going children, Don Bosco Psycho- Social Support Center has joined hands with 10 schools in the neighbourhood and organized counseling services and rehabilitation training for the affected children. Linking Hands also collaborated with residence associations and Kudumbashree to create awareness in the community on the impact of drug abuse.
