PARTICIPAPTORY EDUCATION

PARTICIPAPTORY EDUCATION

“Thank you for this meeting. Now I know what all things you are offering our children. I did not have even a fraction of what they receive as I grew up!” and turning to the children around her she said:” Please make use of all the opportunities that you have here. You are so lucky and blessed!” This aunt of a boy whose parents had abandoned him going their own way was attending a meeting held for the mothers of children. Half of the 54 children at Don Bosco do not have anyone responsible for them.

We believe that every child who is brought to us is our child and not someone else’s It is this conviction that impels us forward in providing the best any child can receive by way of opportunities with the help of generous benefactors.

Our approach to the education of our children is participatory – involving all the stake holders. “ It takes the whole village to educate a child!”
