600 high school students attend supplementary education programme

The month of July found about 600 high school children attending sessions  with themes that respond to the needs of the children.  Peer Pressure, Internet Addiction, Friendship, Gender Equality, Life Plan were the main topics that were dealt with. The sessions were held from 9.30 a.m. till 12.15 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Realizing that there is something more important for the development of children than just academic subjects, Don Bosco Psycho-Social Support Centre designed life-skills to fill the gap in the school system.

Children were given the option to design charts and posters on the topics. Prizes were awarded to all those who responded.

The schools are to be appreciated for bringing their children to the centre during the class hours. These sessions prove to be a boon to students, parents and the school.
